Mission Projects & Trips

MISSION PROJECTS

SMILES FOR ZIMBABWE TOOTHBRUSH DRIVE: For April 2011, we collected toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss for an orphanage in Zimbabwe.  We collected more than double of what our goal was!

HEAVENLY TREASURES: We partnered with Heavenly Treasures in Fall 2009 to help raise money for 210 children without parents in Kenya!  We exceeded our goal and were able to make sure they had socks as well!  Heavenly Treasures has a store in Glendora where they have all the products from all the projects they help around the world. Once a year, we welcome them for Christmas with a Mission!  Their website is: www.heavenlytreasures.org

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES:  Each Fall we partner with Samaritan's Purse in collecting shoeboxes for children around the world.  We also help at the collection center in Santa Ana.  www.samaritanspurse.org

COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL:  After the earthquake in Haiti in January 2010, we responded by the inspiration of 7-year-old Andrew Barton who had an idea to raise money one Sunday for those in Haiti by having all the Baseline children wear pajamas.  We raised over $5000 that Sunday and sent the funds to help with the relief effort.  www.compassion.com
